Everyday is a multiple choice test

Everyday, one is faced with a series of multiple choice questions. And if we're even more 'lucky', we will get hit by a number of open-ended questions instead. Some times we are able to answers those questions on the spot. Other times, the question remains to be answered. Hence, each day becomes a new opportunity to answer the unanswered puzzling questions. And each day, new questions arises as well. Everyday is a multiple choice test. We could pick the right answer, the wrong one or even skip the question. Each answer gives a different result. Some times we achieve our desired result. Other times, not so much.

Which is why we continue to grow each day and experience what life has in store for us. Tests may become more difficult overtime. Some questions may be reoccurring. And we will stare blankly at the question asking ourselves whether we have answered this question before. Those reoccurring questions are the experiences in life that we keep getting stuck in. An opportunity for us to change the answer to get a different desired outcome.

We need to remember that each reoccurring question allows us to gather new experiences, new strength to surpass this point. The lessons we learned from the struggling process will help shaped and mold us to become better individuals and hopefully will add on to our strength when we encounter the next tough question.

It's like a baby learning how to walk. The baby can choose to continue to lie or sit around and let the parents "serve" him/her. Or the baby can choose to learn how to first stand on his/her two feet and then slowly learn how to walk. The baby will definitely fall a million times. The baby will be faced with the question on whether he/she should stand up and try again or just give up. But always, the baby will choose to stand up again and learn how to walk. And eventually, the baby will be able to do so.

Which is why the ability to fight rather than crumble in the face of adversity is our ultimate strength. Like the baby, we will learn the know how and it will continue to stay with us as we continue forth with the test of life. Each question will become a new lesson for us to be more open to learn and grow. And hopefully as time passes, the questions becomes easier and tests become simpler.

Because, it is while struggling on the path of answering those questions where we will find our own value. We may think that life would be so much easier if we could just follow a set of clear instructions, but life would be so dull and it wouldn't be our life. Everyone's test is different. Everyone may be faced with the same questions but regardless, the situation, the outcome will always be different. At times, we would love to be given a break and cheat. But how can one cheat when one isn't given the questions beforehand.

The questions may repeat but as long as we are able to apply the lessons learnt along the way in the journey call life, we will get through those questions. Some way or another.

Which is why, "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. But today is a gift. That's why its called the present" (Kung Fu Panda) Everyday is a choice for us to exist. To reinforce the concepts that we have learned. And to aid us in choosing the right answers to a given question.
